See the Child. Change a Life. Dear Friends, As we look back on this year, we are reminded of how powerful the impact can be when a child is seen, not for their struggles, but for their God-given potential. Fourth grader, Tristian, is a beautiful example of what can happen when support surrounds a child. In his early days at Gardere Community Christian School (GCCS), Tristian often found himself frustrated and discouraged without the tools to handle his feelings. This affected his academics and his relationships with teachers and friends. But instead of giving up on him, his teacher and our support team took the time to understand his motivation and how he learned best. With encouragement, structure, and opportunities to lead, Tristian grew in confidence, in character, and in his academics. Now, he’s succeeding both in the classroom, where he surpasses state averages in every core subject, and in his relationships with others. He is a leader among his peers. Tristian’s story reminds us that God is at work in every child, shaping their heart, mind, and spirit. This is the heart of what we do at Gardere Community Christian School, and it’s only possible because of faithful partners like you.
