Our hallways are once again filled with backpacks, silly jokes, and the excitement that new beginnings bring. As those doors open, we want to pause and simply say thank you.
Everything that is about to happen this school year begins with faithful partners like you. Last year, we watched a student named Connor grow into a confident learner. His curiosity, determination, and love of reading flourished throughout the year. He became one of our monthly Bookworm Club members by consistently meeting his independent reading goals. Today, Connor is performing above the 70th percentile nationally in both reading and mathematics, a testament to his hard work and the support of his teachers and family. Connor's story is inspiring, and it’s one of many. It is one of countless stories unfolding every day at Gardere Community Christian School. Stories of children discovering confidence they never knew they had. Stories of students overcoming language barriers, mastering difficult concepts, and realizing that they are capable of far more than they ever imagined. Most importantly, they are stories of children growing in the knowledge that they are deeply loved by God and created with purpose. These stories are possible because of you. Your generosity made this past year one of the most exciting in our school's history. Together, we celebrated strong academic growth across our school. Our preschool program continued to grow, allowing us to serve more of our youngest learners during the years that matter most. We launched our Leadership Cup program, creating new opportunities for students to develop leadership skills while strengthening our school community. And after years of prayer, planning, and generosity, we celebrated the completion of our new multipurpose building, a space that will bless our students and families for years to come. But perhaps what encourages us most is hearing families tell us their children love school. It's witnessing students grow in academics, character, confidence, and their relationship with Christ. As we welcome students back to campus, the work of a new school year begins immediately. While tuition assistance, state scholarship programs, and grants provide an important foundation for our mission, many of those funds are received well after the school year has already begun. Yet the ministry of educating children cannot wait. Because of generous partners like you, it doesn't have to. Your support allows us to begin the school year knowing that every child will have the resources needed from the moment they walk through our doors.
